Dear Downtime friends,

with deepest regrets we infrom you that Lennart will leave the band as a drummer after the next show. The reasons are completely personal, and we split as best friends without any animosities. For us, a little era comes to an end, and the whole bunch wants to say THANK YOU LENNI for your dedication and the unbelievably cool years we had. We will miss you, though we'll stay in contact.

On Dec. 13th, we'll play the Second Home in Baunatal for the last time with this line-up. We would love to see all of you there to bid Lenni farewell that's worth a beer or two! After that show, we will creep back in to our dark chambers to come back soon with a new drummer and the most explosive material we have written so far.

We are back! After several being busy writing songs and recording we got a lot of energy and with "To Perish The Pantomime" a bunch of completely new material, waiting to be released soon!

You'll find a first preview on our MySpace page - three fresh song as well as our latest live dates.

We have a new face in the Downtime-family. Björn and Downtime parted ways a few days ago. The decision was made completely for "business" reasons and nothing to do with perosnal conflicts! We thank Björn for the last years and wish all the best!

We welcome Timo Riepel as our new bass player, who was already active with Counterfeit. Timo's first show is on Oct. 27th 2007 at Sägewerk in Neukirchen with Lay Down Rotten! Don't miss it!

The Earthshaker Fest gives its opening slot to upcoming bands in a contest. DOWNTIME already impressed the jury by hitting the top 20, from which a winner will be chosen by fan-voting. Help us earning a spot on the Eartshaker Fest 2007!

As we did last year, we are again participating in the voting at ringrocker.com. Thanks to you, we reached an awesome 3rd rank last year, but couldn't do the shows afterwards due to other appointments we had. For giving us the chance to bomb Rock Am Ring 2007, please help and vote for us!

DOWNTIME and Stefan are parting ways. After several internal differences it appears to be the best solution for us all. We wish Stefan the best for his musical and personal future!

But this won't stop us. For 3 weeks now Lennart Eisenberg fills the seat behind the drums und brought enough prove through the last shows that he is more than worthy. Welcome to the club!
